After bringing your new Red Golden Retriever puppy home from Ridley's Red Retrievers LLC, there are several important precautions to ensure their continued health and well-being. First, it's crucial to limit their exposure to environments where they might contract contagious diseases. Dog parks and puppy training classes, while beneficial for socialization and training, can pose health risks due to the high frequency of dogs, potentially spreading illnesses. Additionally, avoid visiting other dogs that do not have all their required vaccinations and parasite control measures up to date. Remember, we will not be responsible for any contagious diseases contracted after the puppy has left our care. By carefully monitoring where your puppy goes and whom they interact with, you significantly reduce the risk of them encountering health issues. Regular veterinary check-ups and maintaining up-to-date vaccinations and parasite prevention are also critical steps in protecting your puppy’s health.
